The Youth Support Coordinator provides individual and group support to students to assist their engagement with education and training. The YSC can work with students experiencing barriers to education such as: attendance at school; QCE/learning support; relationships/social skills; social/emotional/physical wellbeing; drug and alcohol support needs; suspension/exclusion/referral for behaviour support; conflict with family/peers/teachers; financial difficulties/homelessness.

The YSC does not provide therapeutic counselling.
