Year 9
Students have the opportunity to attend a camp at CYC Burleigh Heads on the Gold
Coast. Students engage in many team building activities such as Raft Building,
Mini Survival Challenges, Surfing and Stand-up Paddle Boarding. Over the course
of a three night stay, students learn the importance of teamwork, tolerance,
understandings, positive relationships as well as lifelong skills of problem
solving and self-reliance. This camp provides students with the necessary
skills for learning and leadership that are needed in the upcoming years of
senior schooling.
