On the Year 7 camp at Emu Gully, students have the
opportunity to develop their leadership and teambuilding skills by undertaking
a series of activities based on famous battles that involved Australian troops from
WWI, WWII and Vietnam conflicts. Students
have to rely on each other to complete tasks such as; The Tunnel Rats of
Vietnam, The Siege of Tobruk, Escape from Colditz and the ever popular thick
mud of the Kokoda Track. As well as
completing these tasks students learn some great history about these famous
events in Australia’s history.
